Porsche Taycan Launch

The first all-electric Porsche Taycan required a Midwest debut that carried weight. King Sixteen designed and produced the launch experience for Porsche and Blue Grass Motorsport, centering the evening on precise atmosphere, live performance, and a synchronized Kabuki reveal.

Staging the Midwest Taycan Debut.

High-stakes vehicle launches leave little margin for error, and the room has to feel inevitable.

For the Midwest introduction of the Porsche Taycan, King Sixteen partnered with Blue Grass Motorsport to shape a controlled evening inside the showroom. Sculptural florals, dynamic lighting, signature cocktails, and live performance - including a DJ paired with a roaming electric violinist - established the atmosphere before the reveal.

The sequence built toward a timed Kabuki drop synchronized to a German countdown. Haze and lighting shifted the space as the Taycan entered, escorted by models from Louisville’s KMAC Couture. Every element was pressure-tested, so the moment landed cleanly rather than theatrically.

The work required equal attention to presence and operational precision: translating Porsche’s electric chapter into a physical experience that felt intentional, restrained, and true to the brand. Projects like this continue a partnership that has spanned more than a decade, built on trust, taste, and the ability to carry serious moments without overstatement.
