Case Study

A Decade of Longines at the Derby.

For more than a decade, King Sixteen has partnered with Longines to shape one of the Kentucky Derby’s most recognized brand environments. We design and produce the paddock activation at Churchill Downs - custom fabrication, lush florals, premium finishes, and carefully framed photo moments - alongside the Turf Club retail boutique.

The scope extends well beyond the build. We coordinate VIP transportation, exclusive dining experiences, content production, logistics, and premium hospitality for Longines’ distinguished guests throughout the weekend. The activation draws consistent crowds and has become a familiar part of the Derby landscape, including serving as the backdrop for many marriage proposals.

The work requires equal attention to craft and operational reliability: protecting a luxury brand’s presence while managing the complexity of a high-traffic, high-visibility environment. Projects like this continue a long partnership built on trust, precision, and the ability to deliver the same standard every year.
